Pronouns and Adjectives

Subject Pronouns
yo = I
tú = you (familiar)
él = he or it (formal, m)
ella = she or it (f)
usted (Ud.) = you (formal)
nosotros (as) = we
vosotros (as) = you (familiar) in Spain
ellos (as) = they (m)
ellas = they (f )
ustedes (Uds.) = you all (formal)
m - masculine f - feminine

Indirect Object Pronoun:
me = to me
te = to you
le (a el) = to him
le (a ella) = to her
Le ( a usted) = to you
nos = to us
les (a ellos) = to them
Les ( a ellas) = to them
Les ( a usteds) = to them

Direct Object Pronoun:
me = me
te = you
Lo = him
La = her
nos = us
Los = them musculine
Las = them feminie.
no pronun for Ud and Uds.

Reflexive Pronouns:
me = myself
te = yourself (informal)
se = mself, herself, itselfse yourself (formal)
nos = ourselves
se = themselves (feminine or musculine), yourselves

Possessive Adjectives:
mi, mis = my (mis for pleural mis amigos= my friends)
tu, tus = your
su, sus = his, her, their
nuestro, nuestra, neustros, neustras = our

The possessive pronouns:
are similar to the possessive adjectives, but they are normally used with the definite article.

mine = el mío / la mía/ los míos / las mías
yours (familiar) = el tuyo / la tuya/ los tuyos / las tuyas
yours (formal), his, hers = el suyo / la suya/ los suyos / las suyas
ours = el nuestro / la nuestra/ los nuestros / las nuestras
yours (familiar) = el vuestro / la vuestralos vuestros / las vuestras
yours (formal), theirs = el suyo / la suya/ los suyos / las suyas

Demonatrative Adjectives:
Near the speaker:
this = este (m.) esta (F)
these = estos (m.), estas (F)

Near the listener:
that = ese (m.) esa (F)
those = esos (m.) esas (f)

Far from both:
that = aquel (M), aquella (F)
those = aqeullos (M.) aqeullas (F)

Neuter Demonsterative Pronouns:
refer to an adjective that is not known, a statement or a general idea:
esto = this
eso = that
aquello = that
